Son Doong Cave in Vietnam was recently discovered by a National Geographic Team that documented this natural wonder. The dimensions of the cave are staggering : 5.5 miles long ; 400 feet high ; one needs to rapple 80 meters down just to reach the cave entrance. The best part ? Tours will be available by 2014

Dormant Sentinel of Babuyan Claro

Mt. Pokis is a 2,000 foot dormant stratovolcano standing guard on the western flank of remote Babuyan Claro Island near the Balintang Channel. From the summit, one can see the entire archipelago of the Babuyan Islands all the way to Batanes on a clear day.
